The ICT elective students were full of energy as Mr. Gedeon Catedral and Miss Napacha challenged students to guide their Yodkong POP32i robots through a complex maze. Tasked with implementing a wall-following algorithm, teams programmed their robots to utilize the ZX-Switch to detect physical obstacles upon contact.
The goal was to transform every collision into a precise reaction, where the robot would instantly reverse and pivot to find a new path.
Through trial and error, the students learned that successful navigation required not just physical assembly, but the logical coding necessary for their machines to intelligently recover from every bump in the road.
