In mid-June, the M.6/9 Chinese major students organized a presentation about the Dragon Boat Festival, one of China’s traditional festivals. They shared the story of Qu Yuan and explained the tradition of eating zongzi during the festival. They also introduced the different types of zongzi enjoyed in northern and southern China.
Through this activity, the students practiced speaking Chinese, improved their storytelling skills, and gained a better understanding of Chinese culture and history.
