Learning is always more exciting when students can experience it for themselves!
Our Primary 2 students recently headed to St. Louis Arena for a fun and energetic tug-of-war activity. Guided by Mr. A. Haluk Odabas and Ms. Supimporn Sutantiwannakul, the students took part in several rounds of tug-of-war while exploring the topic of Forces and Movement.
Through this hands-on activity, the students experienced how pushing and pulling create forces and how the strength and direction of a force can affect movement. They also discovered that working together and pulling in the same direction can make a big difference.
The activity was not just about winning. It was also an opportunity for students to practise teamwork, communication, cooperation, and sportsmanship. They encouraged one another, cheered for their teammates, and, most importantly, enjoyed learning together.
It was a fun and memorable experience that helped our Primary 2 students connect what they learned in the classroom with the world around them.
