On August 5, 2026, our Primary 6/7, 6/8, and 6/9 students went on an educational field trip to Hom Pa Chak (Ban Bangkrosorb Learning Center), where they participated in a variety of hands-on activities and explored valuable knowledge about local culture, natural resources, and the environment.
During the field trip, students took part in five exciting activities: making Gac fruit soap, weaving Nipa palm, making Thai dessert (Kanom Chak), making a flower pot, and learning about the three-water ecosystem. Students actively participated in each activity and gathered important information that they later used as the foundation for their group presentation project.
After the field trip, students worked together throughout the following weeks to transform their experiences and collected information into an impressive presentation. Their project was designed to connect their learning with both Social Studies and Science, which contributed to their group assessment. Students also demonstrated their individual skills through Math and English, including calculation tasks and individual presentation performance.
Throughout the month, students took responsibility for different parts of the project. They designed and created their posters on feature boards, wrote their presentation scripts, prepared presentation slides using Canva, and continuously practised their presentations. With guidance and feedback from their teachers, they worked together to improve their content, presentation skills, confidence, and teamwork.
Finally, on September 4, 2026, all students proudly presented their completed work at Albert Lawrence Hall. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to share what they had learned and demonstrate the knowledge and skills they had developed throughout the project.
This meaningful project allowed students to connect real-world experiences with classroom learning while developing important skills in research, teamwork, problem-solving, calculation, English communication, creativity, and public presentation.
